Dwyane Wade was back in a Heat jersey Friday for the first time since the 2015-16 season, just one day after being traded from the Cavaliers for a second-round pick.
Back in his old No. 3 and rocking the team’s new NBA City jersey, Wade came off of the bench and checked into the ball game halfway through the first quarter to a standing ovation from the American Airlines Arena crowd.

The NBA got into the spirit of the “R3TURN” and released a hype video ahead of Wade’s comeback.
The Heat began selling Wade’s City jersey yesterday after the trade went through and the response was so well-received they have already sold out.
And even if he’s not the elite player he once was, Wade was still making plays in Wade County — just like old times.
