Wade was fined $25,000 for making a throat-slashing gesture Thursday after hitting a 3-pointer during the waning seconds of the Bulls’ 105-99 win over the Boston Celtics, the league announced Friday.

Before the fine was announced Friday, Wade took to social media to apologize for the gesture.
Wade led the way for the Bulls with 22 points, six rebounds and five assists.
