The Houston center first met 7-year-old James Fisher back in December when the young fan got to hang out with Howard before a game. Fisher was battling terminal brain cancer and gave Howard a bracelet so the big man could show his support.

Now that bracelet means a bit more to the Rockets player, who was touched by his interaction with Fisher. Howard paid tribute to the kid by posting a video on Instagram after learning the tragic news.
