As many as four benches were tossed onto a celebratory bonfire that lasted more than an hour in the university quad, according to Elon News.

Local Duke fan David Stewart and a group of friends carried a bench from across campus to add to the celebration.
“It was a lot of work,” Stewart told WRAL, “but this is a moment we’ll never forget.”
In Madison, five arrests were made and two fires were set, but no damage was reported in the aftermath of the Badgers’ loss.
