We know about his relationship with Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, but the two-time NFL MVP was always quiet about his politics. He’d say Trump is a “fun guy” that he hung around with a few times, but ultimately said politics were “way off my radar.” Well, according to Trump, Brady is at least supporting the republican candidate.

Per the New York Times:

In March, Trump told the Times, “Tom Brady is a great friend of mine. He’s a winner and he likes winners.” As for Big Ben, Trump spoke about the Steelers quarterback during a Pennsylvania rally in April. He also called Roethlisberger a friend and added, “Big Ben is great, and he’s a winner. He’s a winner. He’s a big winner.”

It’s not clear if the quarterbacks actually endorse Trump, but they certainly are not shy about having their name attached with the candidate. In addition to saying he has their support, Trump also added he might have the sports figures speak for him at the Republican National Convention.

UPDATE: Apparently Roethlisberger and Trump aren’t on the same page.
