With plenty of cap room available, the Dolphins have been considered a favorite to land the defensive lineman from the outset. That expectation is firming up as the start of free agency looms, according to Yahoo Sports.

The parameters floated so far would fit that bill. The Miami Herald reported Friday that a Suh deal with Miami could end up in the six-year, $102 million range that figures to be front-loaded and laden with guaranteed money.

There still is a chance Suh stays put; the Detroit News cited two sources Saturday saying the Lions remain in contention. The Chargers, Jaguars and Raiders also could end up in the mix.
