Saturday marked the third preseason game in which Miami played without the Pro Bowler. The Dolphins substituted third-year offensive tackle Dallas Thomas as Albert continues to rehabilitate his knee.

Albert tore his ACL mid-season last year and has been working to return to the team as soon as possible. The Dolphins hoped to have him back by the start of the season.
