TikTokers can’t get enough of @annatherescue, a Pit Bull mix, with one particular clip receiving over 205,000 likes and hundreds of comments since being posted on October 12.

In the video, she can be seen comfortably sleeping with her paws in the air and her gnashers on show.

Her doting owner wrote in the clip: “She may trade me for a cheeseburger but at least I’ve never had to beg for a cuddle.”

While humans may opt for a particular side of the bed every night, dogs can sleep here, there, and everywhere. Canines can sleep for 14 hours per day and their positions certainly vary.

Tractive, an Austrian company that develops real-time location trackers for pets, has shared a few meanings behind dogs’ sleeping positions.

For instance, the “Superman” position, where your pet is sprawled on the ground with front legs pointed forward, back legs pointing behind, and tummy pressed to the floor, means your dog is probably worn out from a day of very active play.

Another position that is bound to make any pet owner’s heart melt is the “snuggle-bug.” This position involves cuddles up against the owner—just like Anna in the video. This position means you have won your furry friend’s trust and devotion.

Newsweek previously spoke to an expert who revealed what a dog’s sleeping position says about its relationship with its owner.

Mary R. Burch, a certified applied animal behaviorist and the AKC family dog director, spoke about the meanings behind different sleeping positions.

She pointed out that a dog curled in a ball could mean it is either protecting itself or preserving heat. Anna seems to be in the snuggle bug position, with her belly out.

Burch told Newsweek: “Animals who have a sense that they might be attacked don’t expose their bellies. When the dog rolls over onto the belly-up position, it could also mean that the dog has gotten warm while sleeping and needs to cool off.”

The video has certainly been a hit online, one user wrote: “omg with the teefs out!! too adorable lol she melts my heart.”

Another wrote: “That is so stinking cute!!”

A third said: “Feed the cheeseburger while cuddling = the best of both worlds.”

Others have complimented the pup calling her “perfect”, “cute” and “adorable.”
