Grandal reached base in all six of his plate appearances, starting the day off with a single followed by two walks. His first RBI didn’t even come until the sixth inning when he hit a two-run single off Jeremy Jeffress.
He then hit a three-run homer into the second deck in right field in the eighth inning and then hit another three-run shot in the ninth that barely cleared the left field wall.
With the performance, the 26-year-old is now hitting .301/.414/.534 on the year.
