Oh, hi Los Angeles offense.

It took eight innings, minimal hits, great pitching and high drama. But finally, in the ninth, the Dodgers offense exploded for five runs en route to a victory.

Dodgers vs. Astros Game 4 results

11:27 p.m. END OF GAME: Kenley Jansen gets Jose Altuve to fly out to right center and the Dodgers even the Series, 2-2.

11:25 p.m. HOUSTON SCORING PLAY: Well, I take that back. Alex Bregman with a home run to left. 6-2 Dodgers.

11:23 p.m.: Bregman up is the last chance for the Astros, and he can’t hit a five-run dinger, so this one is just about over.

11:17 p.m. END TOP 9: Well, just look below.

11:16 p.m. LOS ANGELES SCORING PLAY: Joc Pederson launches a home run to right at a ball at his eyes. 6-1 Los Angeles.

11:13 p.m. LOS ANGELES SCORING PLAY: Austin Barnes with a sac fly to score another run. 3-1 Los Angeles in the ninth.

11:02 p.m. LOS ANGELES SCORING PLAY: Cody Bellinger comes through with an RBI double to give the Dodgers a 2-1 lead.

10:58 p.m.: Corey Seager leads the ninth off with a single right through the shift.

10:54 p.m. END 8: Game 4 is heading to the ninth inning tied.

10:47 p.m. END TOP 8: Devenski gets Taylor in a battle of the Chrises to end the inning for the Dodgers. To the home half. Here’s hoping for more offense.

10:37 p.m. END 7: Brandon Morrow works through the inning with no damage done.

10:28 p.m. END TOP 7: A two-out RBI hit for Forsythe ties the game at 1 run apiece. And we were chugging along, too…

10:25 p.m. LOS ANGELES SCORING PLAY: Logan Forsythe singles home Cody Bellinger to tie the game at 1.

10:19 p.m.: Cody Bellinger gets his first World Series hit, a double into the weird part of left field.

10:12 p.m. END 6: Brandon Morrow in the game now and gets a ground out to get out of the inning. Houston leads 1-0 going to the seventh.

10:09 p.m. HOUSTON SCORING PLAY: George Springer launches a Springer Dinger to left field and it knocks Alex Wood out of the game. 1-0 Houston.

10:07 p.m.: Some offense, some offense, my kingdom for some offense.

10:01 p.m. END TOP 6: Charlie Morton had first and third with nobody out and got out of the inning. Good stuff from Morton.

10:00 p.m.: It’s deja vu all over again. Alex Bregman nails Austin Barnes at home with a perfect throw, a la Greg Bird and the Yankees in ALCS Game 7.

9:56 p.m.: Kike Hernandez with a base hit. Austin Barnes to third, Chris Taylor up. We got some offense!

9:52 p.m.: Morton hits Austin Barnes to put a man on. Not much doing.

9:43 p.m. END 5: HEY EVERYONE: ALEX WOOD IS THROWING A NO-HITTER THROUGH FIVE INNINGS.

9:41 p.m.: Give credit to Alex Wood, too. He’s matching Morton to this point, and has yet to allow a hit.

9:34 p.m. END TOP 5: Charlie Morton is dealin’. Minimum through five with seven strikeouts. Wild stuff.

9:27 p.m. END 4: Alex Wood continues to look disappointed in himself, for some reason, but has worked through four innings.

9:20 p.m. END TOP 4: Morton gets Turner swinging on a pitch outside. We go to the bottom of the inning.

9:18 p.m.: Corey Seager grounds out to second. He’s looked out of sorts in the World Series. Maybe sitting out the NLCS has thrown him off. Certainly seems that way.

9:13 p.m. END 3: Wood gets Springer to ground out to short to end the inning.

9:11 p.m.: Seems as though Alex Wood is having a hard time putting hitters away. Was up 0-2 on Gonzalez and McCann, and both have worked their way back into the count.

9:08 p.m.: Wood issues a walk to Marwin Gonzalez. Brian McCann up.

9:00 p.m. END TOP 3: Charlie Morton works a 1-2-3 inning and there’s still no offense in Houston.

8:51 p.m. END 2: Alex Wood gets a doubple play and then a nice play from Logan Forsythe to retire Reddick and head to the third.

8:49 p.m.: Alex Wood issues a lead-off walk. Yuli Gurriel at the plate.

8:45 p.m. END TOP 2: Morton #inducesweakcontact and we head to the Astros’ half scoreless.

8:43 p.m.: Puig fouls a ball off his foot, but apparently the Dodgers aren’t going to review or it’s not a reviewable play. That’s screwy. Puig out at first.

8:38 p.m. END 1: Good start for Alex Wood as we head to the second.

8:33 p.m.: Update:

8:31 p.m.: And we have our first challenge of the game, which should come as no surprise since Laz Diaz is behind the plate.

8:26 p.m. END TOP 1: Brian McCann throws out Chris Taylor on a delayed steal with two outs, because that makes sense.

8:21 p.m.: Chris Taylor with a lead-off single.

8:20 p.m.: Charlie Morton gets Strike 1 and we’re off!

7:56 p.m.: Oh good, we’re only 24 minutes until game time, because 8:20 starts are a thing, apparently.
