The Browns were always going to be a work in progress in 2022. After all, their newly minted $230 million quarterback was suspended the first 11 weeks of the season. But even without Deshaun Watson, the team has managed to underachieve, going just 3-7 through the first 10 games of the season.
The Browns are now 20th in the NFL in total defense, giving up 349.9 yards per game, and they’ve looked discombobulated for large portions of the season.
Apparently, fan frustration has reached a boiling point, and the police are involved after a fan was spotted driving around, doing donuts, and shredding the field with a piece of construction equipment on the field at FirstEnergy Stadium.

So many questions abound. How? And who? (The why is rather obvious.) But this just seems rather extreme. And how was this possibly allowed to happen?
The person was doing donuts around the field, seemingly trying to carve it up as much as possible before being escorted off.
“We are aware of the incident that occurred early Tuesday morning at FirstEnergy Stadium and have provided the Cleveland Division of Police with all relevant information, the Browns said in a statement.
As mentioned in their statement, the Browns host the Buccaneers Sunday, so obviously the field staff has some work to do. In the meantime, the Browns will try to do some work of their own to tide over their growingly restless fanbase.
