As we now know, the 49ers and Chiefs will meet in Super Bowl 54. But if we had paid close attention to this graphic made on Christmas, we all could have bet on the 49ers and Chiefs making it to the big game. Let us explain.
Reddit user tom2727 discovered that in the graphic (seen below), the only two players wearing game pants in the photo are Patrick Mahomes and George Kittle. Everyone else (aside from Gardner Minshew) appears to be wearing sweatpants.

However, as someone else noted in the comments section, it does look like Cowboys QB Dak Prescott is wearing game pants as well, although it’s difficult to see. But tom2727’s heart was in the right place, because there is something else that only Mahomes and Kittle are doing: Mahomes and Kittle are the only two playing with dogs.
Coincidence? Yeah, probably.
But it’s still interesting. And it will probably fuel conspiracy theorists who believe the NFL is scripted. If that is the case, then is there anything else we can take away from this graphic?
