The show’s ratings have been good but not good enough to offset its production costs, according to the report by Dave Meltzer. The bigger problem is the same one that all wrestling shows face: Advertisers did not want to run ads on the program.

The move’s timing is interesting. TNA announced last Friday that Impact Wrestling would move from Friday to Wednesday nights beginning June 3. However, the decision to cancel the show was made before the decision to change nights for Impact.
This, from Meltzer:
With the change of nights, there is a slight chance Destination America could change its mind.
Again, from Meltzer:
The decision to cancel the show was supposed to be a secret but those are few and far between in the wrestling business. If TNA is dropped, it will mark the second year in a row that promoter Dixie Carter will seek a television home. Impact parted ways with Spike TV last fall.
Without a TV deal, TNA would be in deep trouble. This could signal the end of the promotion.
