Watson has not been charged with any criminal offenses but is facing 24 civil lawsuits from women, with two more reportedly soon to be filed.

As he begins his career with the Browns after their blockbuster trade to acquire him from the Texans, Watson maintained he is focused on clearing his name.

MORE: What to know about the lawsuits against Deshaun Watson

Watson said in no uncertain terms Tuesday that he never “assaulted,” “harassed” or “disrespected” anyone.

Watson chose not to answer any questions regarding the veracity of the recent New York Times report that he used at least 66 different massage therapists, instead asking to direct any questions to his legal representation.

That includes my family, that includes this organization, that includes my teammates in this locker room that has to answer to these questions, that includes the fanbase of the Cleveland Browns, that includes males, females, everyone across the world. So, that’s one thing I do regret is, the impact it has triggered on so many people. It’s tough to have to deal with it. …

Like I said, I’ve never assaulted anyone, I’ve never harassed anyone, I’ve never disrespected anyone, I’ve never forced anyone to do anything.

More women came forward accusing Watson of sexual misconduct in the weeks that followed a “Real Sports” interview with two of Watson’s named accusers, massage therapists Ashley Solis and Kyla Hayes.

The Browns traded for Watson in March after a year-long saga with the Texans, during which he requested a move out of Houston. The sexual misconduct, harassment and assault allegations emerged shortly after that in the spring of 2021 and continue through 2022.

The Browns say they investigated Watson and the situation surrounding him prior to making the trade and handing him his fully guaranteed, $230 million extension earlier this year.

Watson’s accusers say they had not heard from the Cleveland organization during the team’s supposed investigation.

The NFL has yet to levy any discipline against Watson, who did not play in 2021.
