While not a good attempt, it at least tried to copy the original somewhat compared to the fake’s take on the Seal of New York, which appeared to be little more than a scribble....

The Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) border patrol in Yuma, Arizona posted a picture of the captured drone on Facebook on Tuesday. The “small-unmanned aircraft” was carrying six-and-a-half pounds of heroin across the border in Yuma, according to the agency. In addition to the heroin, Border Patrol agents also discovered that the drone was equipped with a GPS tracker placed inside the package of narcotics. “Such packages of hard narcotics are often equipped with trackers to allow smugglers waiting on the northern side of the border to easily locate the packages after they are dropped,” Yuma Border Patrol officials said in the Facebook post....

According to food and drink research firm CGA, around 35 percent of legal adults in the United States participated in Dry January, a 14 percent increase from the number of people who did the challenge in 2019. Surveys conducted by the firm point to more nonalcoholic drink offerings and mocktails as a significant factor for the increasing numbers. “Roughly 50% of those participating in Dry January consumed soft drinks during the month in both 2019 and 2022,” CGA said in a statement....
