Driver Tries To Trick Police With Hand Drawn Inspection Sticker Can You Spot The Fake

The Mechanicville Police Department (MPD) shared a photo of the obvious fake next to an authentic inspection section the motorist had hoped would fool officers. Drawn in pen, the fake included the same phrase “New York State Safety/ Emissions Inspection certificate,” as well as all the months and current year included on all stickers. While not a good attempt, it at least tried to copy the original somewhat compared to the fake’s take on the Seal of New York, which appeared to be little more than a scribble....

Drivers Would Wreck No. 3 To Win

Wreck him, lift the trophy, earn a spot in the Chase for the Sprint Cup and worry about repercussions later. Or be the first loser. Your choice. The result seems simple enough. After all, rubbing is racing. But nothing is ever that simple. Just change the scene slightly: Put Austin Dillon, driving the car with Dale Earnhardt's iconic No. 3 on the side, in the lead on that last lap, and the scenario kind of changes....

Drone Carrying Pounds Of Heroin Gps Tracker Captured After Flying Over Border In Arizona

The Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) border patrol in Yuma, Arizona posted a picture of the captured drone on Facebook on Tuesday. The “small-unmanned aircraft” was carrying six-and-a-half pounds of heroin across the border in Yuma, according to the agency. In addition to the heroin, Border Patrol agents also discovered that the drone was equipped with a GPS tracker placed inside the package of narcotics. “Such packages of hard narcotics are often equipped with trackers to allow smugglers waiting on the northern side of the border to easily locate the packages after they are dropped,” Yuma Border Patrol officials said in the Facebook post....

Dubious Commerce

Forget health care. Last week the Beltway crowd wanted to know: who said what to whom in that town house? Did Brown agree to sell his clout to Hao and to Vietnam? A former business partner of Hao’s says he did, and has even told the FBI and numerous reporters that Brown named his price: $700,000 in cash in an offshore bank. Brown last week called the charge “ridiculous,” and issued a flat, outraged denial through the lawyer he recently hired....

Ducks Shouldn T Lose Sleep Over Frederik Andersen S Injury

The Ducks have both, which is why Tuesday’s decision to place goalie Frederik Anderson on injured reserve is not as bad as it could have been. Andersen was injured Sunday in Tampa, and while his injury is of the “upper body” variety, odds are that it’s a head/neck problem. That doesn’t have to mean a concussion, and it doesn’t have to be serious, but the Ducks would be wise to treat that type of injury with extreme caution....

Duterte Volunteers To Publicly Inject Putin S Free Covid 19 Vaccine

The controversial president—who last month falsely claimed that face masks could be disinfected by dipping them in gasoline—also said he would be among the first to take the vaccine to prove it is safe for his citizens....

Dwight Howard Does Hilarious Shaq Impression

Shaq has been out of the game for years but still insists that he’s the real “Superman,” and should be called such. No one is even thinking about calling a retired player “Superman,” but that’s neither here nor there. Howard, on the other hand, is trying to get out of what ever Shaq-like shadow he’s in. The comparisons are bound to happen since they were both drafted by the Magic, played for the Lakers, became dominant centers, and the list goes on....

Dwyane Wade Lebron James Won T Top Michael Jordan S Legacy

“It’s not possible,” Wade told ESPN. Wade was speaking about their respective legacies, which are subjective by nature. Wade gave his response while laughing, but his point is pretty clear—there is no topping MJ. He said the best James can do is tie it, but even then he has a long way to go. “They’re both on the golf course,” Wade says, using an analogy. “Michael’s on the 18th hole; LeBron is somewhere on like the fourth hole....

Desantis Declares War On Cdc Over Covid 19 Vaccines

In a roundtable discussion Tuesday, DeSantis—a longtime skeptic of the science deployed to stall the spread of the virus at the start of the pandemic—announced he would launch a grand jury investigation into “any and all wrongdoing” involved not only in the creation of the vaccines themselves, but how they were used in Florida and any long-term harms that could have come as a result of their use. He also announced the creation of a board to “advise the public and provide oversight” of the public health establishment in what he described as a counterweight to institutions like the Centers for Disease Control, with which he regularly clashed during the pandemic over recommendations to self-isolate and wear masks in public settings....
