As reported by WFAA, lawyers representing Jacqueline Durand have filed a lawsuit against an unnamed couple residing in Coppell, Texas, who last month hired the University of Texas at Dallas student to look after their three dogs while they were away. A police report quoted by the news outlet states that on December 23rd, 2021, Durand traveled to the couple’s home to care for the canines. The lawsuit claims that when Durand opened the front door to their property, she was “immediately and brutally attacked” by a mixed-breed pit bull and mixed-breed German shepherd....
